I'm an animator but I literally have to do alot of other things like sculpting,Animation,Vfx,Cg etc because I live in a country where those industries are practically nonexistent.
If I'm wrong somewhere then I stand to be corrected. I still don't understand the whole idea of retopology but you're essentially creating a low poly version of your sculpt to help animation easier right? Doing it manually helps you get your edge flow etc but so is using the method I mentioned above, since you're literally taking your sculpt as a base. What's the harm in using the inbuilt decimator in zbrush (which is awesome btw) and then using zremesher to create your retopology? Hey everyone so I'm just going to go straight to the point.
